The Last Few Days in Pictures

He looked so relaxed when he was taking this nap. He must have been having some good dreams about somewhere other than the hospital.

Ethan enjoys listening to music, so we brought this one to the hospital for him to listen to some of his favorite songs.

Ethan eating his dinner in his new SpongeBob jammies last night.

These next few pictures were taken right before coming home. He has lost around 3-4 pounds (depending on how many diuretics he is on and if he has a wet diaper or not). He looks SO skinny and gaunt to me. We need to get him to gain some weight again.

This is Ethan getting his first dose of Vancomycin at home. I love these cool little bulbs that just give the medication all by themselves. I've seen them before but have never actually used them. Way cool.

I am so glad that you are home. Maybe now you can rest good in your own bed with your own surroundings. Still in my prayers! Jody

Horray for being home. Ethan looks very thin, but he'll gain it back. Just stuff him with lots of turkey, chocolate and baked goods over the holidays!! It works for me! :)

I've been following along the last couple weeks and wanted to tell you how much better he looks! You can just tell by the look in his eyes that he is much more comfortable and happy. Hope Ethan continues to get better by leaps and bounds! :)

Glad that you are home and hopefully it not bring a return trip back to the hospital soon.
Though he has lost weight, he does look so much better. I pray that recovery continues in the right direction.

Yeah for being home (again). What a little champ! Hope that he continues to do well. Those little bulb things for the Vanco are awesome.

He looks very bright eyed and raring to go. His weight will come back naturally in a very short time. You watch and see. He has been through a lot and his ravinous appetite will be coming soon.
You may feel like you have been through the war now too. Take care of yourself too mommy. ;)
